Full Utility survey and mapping

These surveys provide you with the location and depth of services within the area requested. We will mark the locations of the services found and the depth using road paint/chalk. We can then pick up the locations of the services and populate a digital plan.
Level 1 Utility surveys are ideal for clients who require a hard working copy for future works, this enables them to provide the contractor with up to date utility plans.

Topographic Surveys

To complement our comprehensive utility surveys ULS have the ability to topographically map any site. This provides an accurate and precise plan, necessary at the planning and implementation stage of any project.

Void Locations/Foundation Surveys

Using either the Mala (GPR) or the hand held Mala CX12 concrete imaging unit, ULS are able to locate and map underground voids, foundations, sinkholes and capped shafts. Location of foundational structures none intrusively allows structural engineers to make an assessment regarding there scope of works with minimal disruption and negates the need for costly excavations.
ULS have deployed this technology to great effect on many sites throughout the UK and overseas, identifying voids within race courses for clients within the equestrian industry , this proved very successful as it reduced the risk of serious injury to the horses and riders.
